National park

To celebrate the 106th anniversary of the US National Park Service, Apple introduced a newsroom on how to learn about and support US parks on the 22nd local time. $10 for every Apple Pay purchase on apple.com through August 28 will be donated to the National Parks Fund, as well as exclusive content and collections on Apple Maps, Apple Podcasts and more. .

National parks are worth protecting for all generations

“I recently visited Yosemite and Glacier, and every time I visit a national park, I feel the awe, the silence, and the quiet respect that only nature can give,” said Tim, Apple’s CEO. Cook said. “We are proud to steward the park, educate ourselves about its history, and share it with the world. These treasures are worth preserving today and for all future generations.”

The Parks that Honor Native American History Guide on Apple Maps provides an in-depth look at national parks that honor Indigenous history and heritage. Apple Podcasts features collections centered on Indigenous voices, including the “Yellowstone” episode of the Indigenous-led podcast Parks.
